Inherited Bleeding Disorders

Some bleeding disorders are inherited and may range in intensity from mild to very severe. In a person with a severe bleeding disorder, clotting factors in the blood might be deficient or completely dysfunctional/defective. These individuals may seem to bleed without pause, or can experience lengthy, heavy bleeding with a minor injury.
