| Q: I have moderate-severe Type 1 VWD and I am pretty well controlled with Stimate®. I was recently diagnosed with mitral valve prolapse(MVP). I am tall, thin, and a marathon runner. I came across an article in NEJM (from early '80's) that suggests that there is an associatation in individuals with VWD and MVP. Do you have any further references on this association and or any other information?
